Fluency (Stuttering)

Stuttering is a disruption in fluent speech.

Those who stutter into adulthood often complain that their dysfluency reads as a lack of confidence or knowledge, when this certainly isn't the case. This may, in turn, make one reluctant to share their ideas in a public setting or assume a leadership role.

At Wonderspeak, our experienced and empathetic Speech Language Pathologists will help determine which speaking situations result in an increased amount of stutters and develop a tailored plan of strategies to help enhance fluency in a variety of contexts.
